Every black cat has an alibi. This gothic cat mug shows a sleek black cat on a candlelit mantel, calmly nudging a tall brass candlestick over the edge with one paw, dark red roses and ivy spilling around it and moody shadows on the wall. Drawn in vintage engraving linework, it looks elegant right up until you notice what the cat is doing.
Print reads, line by line: “IT WAS / ALREADY / LEANING”
A favorite for black cat owners who love dark romantic and gothic decor, and a fun birthday or holiday gift for the friend whose cat breaks something every week and never says sorry.
- White ceramic mug, available in 11 oz and 15 oz
- Design printed on both sides, so it shows whether you hold the mug in your left or right hand
- Two Tone version available with a colored handle and colored interior
- Great for coffee, tea, hot cocoa or a desk full of pens
Care: hand washing is recommended to keep the print bright and crisp for longer.
Gift box, tissue paper and wrapping shown in some photos are for styling only and are not included.
